Singapore Fashion Runway_small

It was a fun-filled weekend for participants and guests as they took a trip down memory lane, celebrating SG50 with a special tribute to 50 years of fashion on 6th and 7th June 2015!

A Uniquely Singapore Event Meant and Made for Singaporeans, it was made possible by contributing partners such as absolute PR, Hadara Aesthetics Boutique, Druv Kent, C’Est Moi and Petite Bakehouse. Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, Minister of State, Ministry of National Development & Ministry of Defence, Mayor of Southeast CDC and the guest of honour graced the immensely successful event, which saw a total of 11,000 individuals attending the event as reported by Singapore Expo. The guests came from all walks of lives. Families and couples alike were immersed in the nostalgic atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a myriad of activities from flashbacks which include indulging in goodies, participating in games and entertained by educational and fashion exhibitions from the past!


Giving the event a fashionable twist, a total of 64 models, comprising of adults and children took the stage. The youngest model was 10 months old Katie Cheng, who shared the same birthday as Singapore!

Guided and groomed by YY Low, one of Singapore’s top models, the models showed off the latest collections from fourteen local fashion brands namely Noël Caleb, Yatch 21, Dulcetfig, Ying the Label, Pudu, Button & Stitch, Hepi, Cheeky Chaz, Chere & Dillon, Gaelle, Little Qipao, Little Odd Forest, Curosity and Urban Desti, celebrating 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000 and the future generation! Local singer, Druv Kent serenaded the crowd with his debut single “Little Bit of God” which was recently aired on BBC Radio.

In the above picture, one of Singapore’s top models, YY Low, sashayed the runway in locally created designs. She was instrumental in getting the entire team of models ready for the runway show!

Our Future

In the above, models showed off their slick moves to Pharell William’s hit song, HAPPY!
